wehhh i forgot about my doctor appointment today. the annoying part is that i remembered it 15 minutes after the appointment time too >< ugh

on a slightly brighter note, i had that job interview yesterday and i think it went well! now to wait and hopefully hear back from them. hopefully i do!

i actually miss one of my old jobs... i've tried re-applying for said job in the past, but nothing happened. i'll probably try again in the future i'm sure.

as for my current job? i'm not happy with it. especially knowing that one of my favorite co-workers is planning on retiring this summer. so i've been thinking a lot about trying to find a new job soon, especially since the chances of me moving out of this area aren't 100%.

finding new jobs and doing interviews are so scary though...

my current lease ends at the end of this year and have been thinking of places to move to. one place i'm considering is by the ocean, but the downside to that is that it's a bit of a drive from where i'm at now, and i'm afraid i'll be feeling lonely way more often without my friends and family nearby T_T

so maybe i might stay in the area? but it's also my dream to live near the ocean...i've got until the end of the year to think this all over, at least

hello friends! i've been busy with work and reading lately. been re-reading black cat and soul eater, and also started reading fire force which is also good~ i finally have a day off tomorrow, so i'll probably spend that relaxing and reading TwT

i also have an itch to play guild wars 2 some more again, so i'm sure i'll spend tomorrow playing that as well

i finished resident evil: requiem and i loved it! won't spoil anything but i would highly recommend it if you're into survival horror games. probably has to be in my top 3 for favorite resident evil games!

i have re-acquired an old special interest manga of mine! (black cat by kentaro yabuki) words couldn't describe how surprised (and happy) i was when i saw all 20 volumes at the used hobby stop i frequent. i knew i HAD to get them.

if you haven't read it, then i highly recommend it! it's a great action-adventure manga with charming characters and art. i know there's also an anime adaptation, but i actually haven't watched it, so i can't say for certain if it's a good adaptation or not. i might have to sit down and watch it sometime and report to you guys what i think!

so i was supposed to start working in a new department next week, but my gm (who gave the approval in the first place) suddenly decided i should stay in my current department. i was (and still am) pretty gutted about it. sighs...guess it's time for me to find a new job, because i'm not happy with this department at all. not to mention that i was REALLY looking forward to working in this new department :(

so i spoke with my supervisors about moving departments and they were a-okay with it!! i was so surprised, because transferring at my previous jobs were borderline impossible! i might start doing some training for said department tomorrow if we're not too busy (i doubt we will), so i'm pretty excited! for once i'm not dreading work the next day~ hehe

lately i've been thinking about how generally unhappy i am with my current job. i dunno if it's because of the job/place itself or just the department i'm currently working in. i plan on trying to move to a different department and see if that helps any! and if not then i'll simply go and find a new job. or at least TRY to, seeing how bad the job market's been at the moment >w> but i'll still try if needed!

heya! sorry it's been a hot minute since a last posted here, been distracted with life/work ; 3;

lately i've been looking into homes/condos to buy! this is the year i finally stop living in overpriced "luxury" apartments (when they're just normal apartments) and finally buy a place of my own. there's a surprising amount of affordable homes out there! might as well try and snatch one before they're all gone, right? i'm very nervous since this is gonna be my first time buying a home, but i'm also excited! especially since i plan on getting a home close to the coast, which has always been my dream! hoooopefully i can get one before my lease ends at the end of this year ; w;

i think one of the things that triggers my anxiety is the fact that my brain focuses so much on the future and the potential bad things that could happen. it like obsesses over it to the point that i struggle with distracting myself, or even focusing on hobbies. i've tried mindfulness meditation, but my adhd is awful and is always making my mind run at 90mph @ _@ i'm not sure what else to do

the other thing that triggers my anxiety is no doubt work. i'm not a fan of my job and also some of the co-workers there treat me like garbage (complaining to supervisors and HR did nothing ofc)

apparently it's gonna snow a lot this weekend! they're saying it might snow up to 17 inches, which is a lot where i live (southern usa). on the one hand i love snow, but on the other hand i don't like driving in it TwT

my anxiety has been pretty bad as of late. my brain is ALWAYS trying to find something to get anxious over and i'm soooo tired of it >_> breathing techniques kinda work, but mindfulness is near impossible for my adhd brain.
